The Jew hating thread

Everyone seems to be focusing on just the killing, the other tragedy here is the fact that the Palestinians have become refugees through this war and that will last for the rest of their lives. If there is ever peace in Palestine those people will never know or experience normal life again.

JohnD is getting a bit trigger happy with his comparison of Jews to Nazis which I've reported to the Mods. If his offending posts are not removed I will also report them to the police.

Carry on.
Is ok to compare Palestinians to Nazis.

Indeed, but refugee status will continue long after the rest of their lives, it will continue into their children's lives and their children's children's lives. The reason for this is that Palestinian refugee status is hereditary. I'm not sure why but as far as I'm aware, this is not something that can apply to any other refugees in the world. If for example a refugee comes to this country, then have children, their children do not automatically become refugees.

I would guess that as far as the UN and UNWRA are concerned it's a profitable business, got to keep that money rolling in.

Between 700 & 800 Palestinians left Israel in 1948, around the same number stayed in Israel and took on Israeli citizenship when offered it, Israeli arabs total about 1.5 million, my guess would be that at least 1.2 million of those are of Palestinian descent.

Outside Israel, there are now nearly 6 million Palestinian refugees.

Hmmm?

Found a Jew hater for you.
Get on the phone quick and have him arrested.

I tend to avoid comparing anyone to Nazis, unless I really really hate them.

Me too. I can't remember ever doing it. But it is a very common rhetorical device. The argument often made is that you mustn't compare Israel to the Nazis, because that would be anti-Semitic. As an inveterate fence sitter, I go back and forth. It is a tricky argument to get your head around.

Filly is under the misapprehension that it is illegal to point out the actions of the State of Israel, when they are similar to the actions of other racist, apartheid and genocidal regimes.

He is mistaken.

Israel's propagandists would like such speech to be banned, but it is not illegal.

I welcome his attempts to find police support in banning free speech.

I visited a holocaust museum in Jerusalem, seeing a gold ingot made from teeth dug out from Jews mouths in concentration camps drives home the horror of what the Nazis did, and nothing Israel does or ever did comes even remotely close.

I see filly feels free to compare the state of Israel to nazi Germany

With the intention of saying their genocide is not as bad.

Does he think his comparison is illegal?

No, he believes the constant comparison of Jews to Nazis is possibly a hate crime.

That's good to know John because I gave them your avatar name.

That's a different point, though. Many leaders and regimes get compared to the Nazis. And none of them come remotely close. The argument is whether comparing Israel to the Nazis is inherently anti-Semitic.
