Shows how untrustworthy the BBC are

A convicted felon and rapist, along with a strong chance he’s a nonce. My guess is the beeb gave his reputation a distractive leg-up.

Let tge fat orange rapist sue, then delay.
It all depends how long he manages to deflect additional scrutiny on what he knew about Epstein, although he stands a better chance of suing the Beeb under UK law, by the time it comes to court he'll be dealing with all kinds of allegations himself.

Of course, the claim of a "harm to his reputation" is absolutely hilarious. :D

Meanwhile...

Donald Trump is facing the prospect of a politically damaging congressional vote on releasing the Jeffery Epstein files after attempts to press two female members of Congress to withdraw their backing for it appeared to have failed.

The reported refusal of Lauren Boebert, a Republican representative from Colorado, and Nancy Mace, from South Carolina, to remove their names from a discharge petition to force a vote leaves Trump exposed on an issue that carries the possibility of turning parts of his Maga base against him.

Even Epstein considered the Donald a wrong 'un.

“I have met some very bad people,” Epstein wrote in a 2017 email. “None as bad as Trump. Not one decent cell in his body.”

Nobody, not a single person has come up with a single valid example of how asylum seekers have actually affected them personally
We had an attempted break in just after christmas on a sunday at 5am. We were in the house whilst 3 men tried to smash their way in through the back door with an 4 ft long metal bar. Thankfully, they ran off when i came downstairs in my PJ's clutching my son's hockey stick and turned on some lights. They were caught on our ring cameras and the police caught, arrested and charged them in the summer, along with 9 others.

They were a part of an Albanian gang who had been breaking into houses all around our area for approx 6 months. Of the people arrested, approx half were asylum seekers, and the remainder were either here illegally or had outstayed any legal right to remain.

Apart from scaring the living daylights out of my wife and son, it cost us an insurance claim of £2k for a new back door, of which i had to pay £400 directly and ongoing increased insurance premiums. My 14 year old son spent the week after the attempted break in sleeping on a mattress on our bedroom floor because he was so scared and my wife still wakes me up everytime the house creaks as it settles during the night.

That specific enough for you?
:oops:Wow Flippin heck I hope your family has managed to get over it in some way
And notch will just do what he always does- ignore and come back later with the same accusations and questions.
You have to remember that he lives in a little white village and the worse crime he has to worry about is some litter

Thanks for the supportive comments. We live in a sleepy market town so it was quite unexpected and pretty shocking at the time. But we’re a pretty resilient family so, apart from my wife constantly waking me up in the night thinking she can hear something, we’ve moved on.

The police told us that we were lucky because the gang leaders had been putting physical pressure on some of his gang to steal more, and the gang got more and more aggressive over the 6 months they were operating around us. That being said, me in my pjs would have scared off pretty much anyone :)

Anyway, in other news the bbc appear to have done the same thing to a trump speech in another news programme, so the accusations of institutional bias appear to have more weight than the bbc defenders would like.

Apparently this trump speech was not just aired / edited by panarama

Another case of it being aired on the BBC news

So reports on the BBC news suggest ???

... less NHS

Actually, it's more NHS.

Less NHS is what we'd have if we had no immigrants

But that 19% less is unevenly distributed between roles. With no immigrants we'd have 35% less doctors and 28% less nurses
