I agree British TV is the best I've ever seen.

And only a proportion of it BBC output. ITV, C4 and C5 are free. But some ridiculous legislation says you mut buy a TVL to watch anything.

I stopped paying for a TV licence, I watch everything I want on streaming sites, thousands of channels & sites, free to watch. I refuse to pay one penny toward a 1.5 million pound salary to watch some anti British smug rectum like Lineker, the BBC have been ripping us off for years, I would like to see them dissolved, & fend for themselves.

If British TV is the best in the world I'd hate to see the rest.

It used to be the best, and I can accept that it still is probably the best in terms of technology, but it's the content that's rotten.

I've often mentioned the game I play with BBC channels: turn the telly (or radio) on to a BBC channel and count the seconds before you hear a "woke" message. It won't be long.

For contrast go to Freeview channel 82 to see proper films and TV.
