Thanks for posting this i was just reading this on the flight home tonight, thinking really what the actual ****, there goes inflation again. Putting up min wage and NI, ****ing idiots, beyond stupid. Tories weren't much better.

Festive says it’s beyond stupid giving a bit more to the lowest paid so they can afford to eat or heat their homes.

Festive says the sensible thing would be to make the poorest starve whilst cutting taxes for the richest.

Surely you can see that levelling minimum wage for 18 year olds puts them out of work?

When the min wage gos up its not just the actual min wage its also all of those wages where the employer pays just above min wage leading to inflation.

What I can see is that not paying people enough to live on doesn't help anybody in the long term.

Our economy relies on people spending their money

Look at how companies pay workers so little that they have to claim benefits to live. Us taxpayers subsidising the big boys. I didn't think you would support our taxes being used, thought you wanted less taxes
