Why are you having it replaced?

Let him decide when he has a look

Maybe theres a bit of slack to be pulled down, if not they could be extended in the loft.

What makes you think the existing cables will need extending if the CU is starting in the same place

Is that up near the ceiling?
There is guidance on recommend heights for consumer units.
In the past there were some very silly ideas of where to mount a consumer unit.
Sometimes the most ridiculous of places and out of sight out of mind seemed to be the order of the day to many folks.
I suppose that in the days of yore then a rewire-able fuse might have guided you to its position if you heard the BANG when it blew , before the days of MCBs being more common with their gentle thwack.
But really the first consideration should be for all normal users to get to it/find it and operate accordingly with relative ease instead of going on some kind of treasure hunt.
The elderly/infirm/disabled should be taken into account but you might prefer some deterrence to young children.

The existing unit looks like it's shorter depth compared to today's units just need to know if necessary to extend cables

The existing wires will probably reach, if they don't let your electrician sort it?

The main power supply cable to the main c u switch may need extending how to do it?
The circuit cables ain't a problem that are top entry and are not effected

Many of the cables will be long enough or can be extended inside the CU. If not, there are (not cheap) consumer unit relocation units available. See below. Any junctions (if not accessible) must be maintenance free to meet regs.
Make sure your electrician is a member of one of the competent person schemes (NICEIC, NAPIT, etc) and that the work will be notified as required by building regulations.

The outgoing circuit cables ain't s problem I was concerned about the main supply cable the bg C U looks like it'll suffice

Found Eaton same dimension as existing,
So what?
Dimensions are irrelevant, there is plenty of space to fit any consumer unit there.

problem not enough length on existing supply cables
How do you know?
What difference does it make? If the wires need extending/relocating/replacing, whoever installs it will do that.

Internet if the new one is same size I know it will fit to cables without extension, the eaton is a updated version of the original memera 2000 that's in place now.
I'll ask again, are EATON good quality
