Congratulations LANDO & Mclaren

I like F1. My fav is Max. Dont watch it these days as no way i am paying Sky to watch it...

It’s a technology based sport.
Yeah, i get that, but i'd rather enjoy the spectacle and drama rather than endure a maths lesson on why the car's are performing well.

When Beckham was in his pomp and scoring free kicks for fun from all angles some maths bod explained it all using diagrams and numbers, dissecting the action til it lay limp and lifeless on the board. Nobody gave a rats furry ass about that when the ball flew in the net against Greece. Apart from Justin Passing, perhaps.

So why isn't the tea lady mentioned or the laundry girls ?
Catering and laundry are outsourced for F1 teams. I find it strange though that you automatically think those roles are filled by women. Do football teams get their tea ladies or laundry girls up on the stage to raise the winners cup? F1 is an inclusive sport and they have many women in important roles.

When our girls play on a Saturday. They scream man on.. and there's not a man on the pitch

Maybe that’s the mechanic in me but I find all that stuff fascinating.
Yes, i suppose it is, but my interest in motor parts ended after they left the foundry, although Richard Hammond's attempts to drive a Renault (?) FI car was interesting in that it showed how bloody difficult it is for mere mortals.

Making F1 super-safe for the drivers took an edge off the spectacle for audiences.
Heck of an achievement to become only the 11th Brit to win the title, but not in the same class as Mansell or Hunt.

You missed Sir Lewis Hamilton...........??

These young men need to be very fit
