Perhaps we should cut more police numbers and close more police stations.

Fact remains that only civil unrest on our streets is the only way that our government can judge how people feel about the state of our country. That shows how far our politicians are out of touch with the very people that they govern. A hard right government and a very hard stance is the only way for the public to respect parliament again. Nothing less will do.

So what then, if we had a hard right government, and people felt that they didn't like the state of the country that that created and so took to the streets creating civil unrest?

Should that government judge that people didn't like the state they'd got the country into, and change what they were doing?
