I would like to insulate a bifurcated garage swing up (up and over) door. I have breathable roofing membrane, mineral wool, bits of 150mm kingspan block insulation and various glues.
Could I use very small screws to attach the breathable roofing membrane to the inside of the garage door, pin mineral wool (or kingspan) to the mineral wool then lap the membrane over on the other side? The door swings up so I don't want to add too much weight to the door mechanism.

I also want to seal around the side and top of the door frame as it is very gappy at the top a bit of at the side

Invest in some Soudal low-ex fixing foam. Glue the PIR to the door and use the same foam to fill any gaps around the frame.

Would this Screwfix 'Soudal Adhesive Foam Hand-Held 750ml' work? It says it can be used externally. The glue/adhesive needs to be able to withstand condensation (that may form on the inside of the door)

I have 3/4 of a can of 'EVO-STIK Sticks Like Sh*t Adhesive, All Weather adhesive' (says it can do temperatures down to -40oC) can I use this aswell to stick the PIR to the garage door?

Is the soudal adhesive foam reusable if I put some gaffa tape over the end after gluing a test piece of insulation to the garage wall interior?

Slice it up into slips about 50mm thick, foam the back of the door with expanding foam, foam the slip with expanding foam, leave 2 minutes then press the slip onto the door

Once you get into a pattern with the process you'll have an area of foam on the back of the door going tacky, and several slips on the go at once

When you're done the kingspan will be bonded entirely to the door with expanding foam. Expanding foam is more or less the same thing as kingspan so in essence you're generating something similar to the metal skinned insulated roof panels you see on commercial buildings, albeit one sided

You can spray the inside edge with carpet glue, wait for it to go tacky, then bond your roofing felt to it

Far less likely that it will form condensation once it's insulated

I wouldn't personally use this to adhere kingspan to the door
