Yes, it's just a comms protocol. The room stat is 230v.

With plumbing, I am a DIYer, well OK was trained on submersible pumps, but we are all DIYers to an extent, but we need to consider how well others can understand what we are trying to tell them, and also follow the instructions, my aim at least it to help, giving instructions which are likely are not going to be followed without some problems, is always something to be avoided, and I like the idea of keep it simple when giving instructions.
