Mandelson

For 'World politics' read 'fashionable causes".
For fashionable causes read the widespread rape and traficking of women. Epsteen still has his protectors as work. But lets concentrate on Re form's electoral chances in May, the important stuff, the potholes.

Given his record in Manchester, Burnham is the best choice and more of a 'political heavyweight' than you perceive...

But that's why he was sidelined by Starmer!

I still reckon there will time for Burnham to find a way in (maybe not immediately), especially if the May elections go as predicted.
He's a lefty with the same intentions

Destroy any trace of British culture eg promote any other culture other than indigenous British/English which is a disgraceful right wing mindset.
Spend gazillions on welfare from the magic money tree
Tax those lucky entitled rich people
Tax them even more with higher percentages unaware percentage already means you pay more the more you earn.
Make Manchester great again.. lolz

Oh and teeny mcsweeny 'he has my full confidence' has been booted. What a surprise only 3 days ago Kier was saying...

Keir Starmer has full confidence in his chief of staff Morgan McSweeney, Downing Street has said. There have been calls by backbenchers for the sacking of McSweeney, whom many blame for his ally Peter Mandelson’s appointment to the ambassadorship. Asked if the prime minister agreed with calls for his chief of staff to be sacked, the prime minister’s official spokesperson said: “It’s full confidence.”

McSweeny's gone, so times probably up for Kieth., Spare a thought for all the female victims sidelined while this has become a debate about the boy's club.

Who’s next then?
It’s more a question of what’s next. Time for Kieth to show a pair and call a snap general election. It can’t be worse than waiting till after May and paves the way for his succession planning. Plus Nige will be on the back foot.

Well about now I would ask our Kier to have a flick back through the Sue Gray enquiry.. something along the lines of.

'If something is foreseeable, it is owned by the Prime Minister.'

If I was him I'd be popping up into the loft and pulling my suitcases down etc in preparation...

The bi-election in about 3 weeks could be a pivotal moment for Labour

Not true.
she dodged Capital gains tax when she sold her former council house - she was lucky as HMRC were out of time to chase it.
She dodged Stamp duty on her second home this time she was not out of time and HMRC are investigating.

Its funny you are normally the first to jump about when wealthy politicians don't pay their taxes, and yet here we are - Angela Rayner tax evader.
