I am fitting a bathroom at the daughters house in Surrey
She has chosen one metre long porcelain tiles .
My biggest Rubi is 600 mm long and a wet saw about 700/800 long
Can I ask for your advice and recommendations for a cutter please ?
My mate is lending me his Rubi wet saw but again I don’t think it’s 1000 long

I hope the wall is flat! Had to do a rush tiling job at Son's house a while back. I said don't get Metros, and what did he get - Metros, and wanted brick bond! Cement was 15mm thick in the middle of the run trying to eliminate the lippage!

I don’t know why my daughter has chosen porcelain as I have said a million times to her , don’t get porcelain tiles lol
As you have probably suffered as well , after the tiles are up
Some poor so and so has to drill 20 odd holes for hanging various bits and pieces

A small 125mm grinder is all you need.

Handy tip :- When you come to drilling all those holes for hanging all the bits and bobs, use these ….
( 6mm std Spade/Arrowhead drill bits. £9 for 10 ) You’ll only get 1, maybe 2 holes per drill, but they do get through Porcelain no bother, and at less than a quid each….
A friend years ago showed me them, I’ve been using them ever since.
