I have found out that normally, when a Muslim holds a Union Jack and shouts Allah Akbar, he is reclaiming British patriotism from the far right. So, that it is my starting point. In this case, there seems to be a mixed message.

Nobody is saying there are no Patriotic Muslims who celebrate the UK by waiving a Union flag.

Because I am open minded, I have done my research and found out that Muslims who hold the Union Jack and shout Allah Akbar at right wing marchers are doing it to show that you can be both patriotic and Muslim. That is my starting point. It makes sense if you take a moment to think about it. Do you accept this basic point.
