I don't know what the print version is like, but the headlines in the online version make it look like a cesspit of ragebait.

Maybe that is the only way these days to keep going.
 
There is very little value in a news paper company. Not much intellectual property.
£575m a little over 2 X of revenue.

It would put the Guardian on a similar footing.

You seem to be quite keen on their online stuff, so perhaps you (and people like you) are why they continue to survive.

Discussions on radio included the fact that Axel Springer is famously pro-European - Axel Springer requires its employees to adhere to a set of five "Essentials" or core values, which include Support for European Integration.

I wonder what regular readers of the Torygraph will make of all that.

I find it very useful as a balance to get a rounded perspective. But every time I visit, I notice how incredibly angry the headlines are in the side panel next to the article I am reading. Not what you would normally expect from a broadsheet.
