Long flights however.

The other option is the Greek islands. Rhodes, kefalonia. If they are active then there are lots of places with paddle boarding. Watersports etc.

The beach is fantastic. There are an army of cleaners there keeping everything tidy. Cheap as chips too. The Old Town is lovely.

Visited Malta , you need a car hire though to visit all the beaches around the island . Day trip to Gozo via ferry is recommended.

We never stayed in Benidorm but we visited it a few times when we had the villa. Yeah, the old town is nice to visit and a couple of places to go to that are near Benidorm are Guadalest castle and Algar waterfalls. They have some theme parks and water parks there as well as a zoo.
