I need a new printer. Mainly to print invoices out.

Any recommendations chaps ? One that’s cheap on ink if possible.

HP LaserJet Pro 4002dw

Uses Toner not ink, so you get a professional feel, but they are wifi only not bluetooth as far as I know. I would recommend an inkjet, but mine is always dry and toner always looks more professional

I have a canon 650 using toner. Ink jet is too expensive on ink and dries out before it gets used up. I dont do a lot of printing so find the canon is ideal for my needs.

Cheaper to buy a new inkjet printer than ink refills!

Get a laser printer, they will not mind sitting unused for days/weeks/months. Get an ex-office printer, they are cheapest on replacement cartridges, and the printers can be had for free, or almost free. I paid £15 for my ancient HP4000n, 20 years ago, and it still prints fine.

I bought this about a month ago. It was as cheap as chips, cartridges are too.
I only use it to print my Spanish homework, so it doesn't need to do a fantastic job, but it doesn't do a bad one.

They are cheap, to get you hooked in buying the ink cartridges.
That is the problem with cheap printers, the ink costs more and they seem to use more purposely done. The one I linked to is a good all round printer which is cheap for ink and actually gives a good quality print from it.

Any Brother laser or LED printer, mono or colour as your prefer or can afford. Get one that's also a scanner/copier for a little bit more, might as well. I've been using them for years.

The non-genuine toner cartridges are dirt cheap, you'll be paying a fraction of a penny per page for consumables. But if you're a light user the supplied toner will probably last years anyway.

I previously tried HP, but found that they'll often identify non-genuine cartridges and refuse to work. Never had this issue with Brother.

Don't even think about inkjet, they're a con for ink plus they continually block due to lack of use. No such issues with a laser or LED one.

Mono printer...

All in one (same thing plus a scanner)...

Both are available for lots less from retailers, shop around.

Don't bother with the toner subscription, just buy non-genuine cartridges when needed.
