On This Day

On that basis, would you say the Wright brothers were the first in space?
No, every normal person and animal were already in space, depending upon the qualifying yardstick then the wright brothers or some others were the first ones in outer space.
I reckon that Major Gagarin should qualify for first one into outer space really though.

The term is actually 'sub orbital space'.
Being in space is recognised as the Karman Line at 100km altitude.
Alan Shepherd was the first to go further at 187km very briefly, just before Gagarin made it to 'low Earth orbit'
Alan Sheppherd. Second man in space according to all experts except Ellal.
Maybe one day you'll learn to read the post and educate yourself...
It's very clear and obvious that you misquoted elall's post.
Your vindictive attitude is clouding your judgment.

Rinse and repeat.
I’m not repeating my own post am I? Where have I said those exact words before in this thread? Rinse and repeat is when you just repeat repeat and repeat your own post in the same thread when you have been caught out and have nothing else to say.
