i have to say softus the way you gave your opening remark did come across in a rather gleeful manner, which after some of the criticism you have delivered, eg with the prescott pnuemonia thread (i think), may lead to some people jumping on you!

I think there's a difference - Prescott was ill and suffering, and perhaps through no fault of his own, and that's something I wouldn't wish on anybody, including Bernard Manning.Thermo said:

Manning played in my local a few years back (ticket job). The landlady said it cost a grand for an hours "performance". Granted that didn't include travelling time, but for a grand a day, I'd be prepared to be a bit un-politically correct. I didn't go i might add. I didn't even have to cross the road and I still didn't go to see him.
