Bernard Manning Dead.

i have to say softus the way you gave your opening remark did come across in a rather gleeful manner, which after some of the criticism you have delivered, eg with the prescott pnuemonia thread (i think), may lead to some people jumping on you!

It is your preference that we should lie about the dead, or just shut up about them? Neither option seems very honest to me.

Perhaps unlike you he has some respect for the dead.

I just knew this day was going to be a good one.

Bernard Manning's class of humour required little more skill than turd grading, and had far less value.

As soon as he has a grave I'll make a date to go and dance on it.

You are a bitter twisted person.

I think there's a difference - Prescott was ill and suffering, and perhaps through no fault of his own, and that's something I wouldn't wish on anybody, including Bernard Manning.

BM, however, is dead, and is not suffering. Everybody dies, and my glee at his death is a form of relief that he can no longer poison the universe with the stuff coming out of his mind. I'm sure that there are forum members who would feel the same about me, and I have no problem with that.

BTW, I'm equally pleased that Adolf Hitler is dead, for exactly the same reason.

Numbnuts has just made a comparison between a harmless comedian and Hitler.

I agree with Softus, I won't be dancing on his grave ,even metaphorically, and I'm sorry for his family that he's died, but If he made anyone happy through his form of race hate then I'm sorry for them, for all the people he made happy there's sure to be more that he made unhappy, I'm surprised he hasn't been knighted.

Manning played in my local a few years back (ticket job). The landlady said it cost a grand for an hours "performance". Granted that didn't include travelling time, but for a grand a day, I'd be prepared to be a bit un-politically correct. I didn't go i might add. I didn't even have to cross the road and I still didn't go to see him.

That analogy is laughable................
It isn't an analogy.

When you said..." for exactly the same reason"...That made it an analogy, or perhaps my understanding of English grammar has gone awry.

I personally would wish you no harm whatsoever, and I genuinely hope you have a long and happy life........... :D

The dancing on a grave/buried at sea, was a BM joke about his mother in law........ Did you not see the irony?.......

By the way, I also thought the thread about yourself was distasteful, and unnecessary. Thank god we are all different, makes for an interesting world.........

OK; whether or not "analogy" is the correct term is probably irrelevant, but what is it about my statement that made you laugh?

I personally would wish you no harm whatsoever, and I genuinely hope you have a long and happy life........... :D
Thank you - it's mutual.

No - I'm not perfect. I'll look again.

What thread? :?

Adolf hitler is dead???????????? But I've just bought some Swastika print T shirts for me hols. Fashion is such a fickle thing. I'll just have to wear the Pol Pot swimming trunks instead.
