Disassemble Bed

Not showing very much of the corner, also ISTR there are 4 of them.
Can you not undo the fixings in those corners to dismantle it?
Will it not turn on it's side and be carried out of the rooms whilst the carpet is fitted?

Carpet fitters have come across this problem before and may be able to fit the carpet to 1/2 the room, move the bed onto it then continue.
Talk to them.
Ultimately everything can be undone but my question was always around reassembly.

If the screws are threaded into wood I am afraid I won't get everything back together tightly.
Will the screws grab tight a second time ?

I am not familiar with all the types of screws and clamp fasteners.
The floating shelf especially is rock solid but I have no idea how because can only see two fixings from the back and one on the side.

I am guessing there might be more to it that I might only find out when I start into it and then it's too late if I don't know what I am doing.

But it seems from all the replies here that nobody can really tell me until I start into it so, so be it.

I appreciate all the replies.

Is there no makers name on it.?
At least post pictures of the whole thing, then images of the inside bracketry and enough so we could make a guess?

Did you buy the bed?

Yeah I've tried all that. It's built from a Poliform Ando bed. ( Not made anymore ) The metal frame and components were salvaged but the headboard, timber frame and shelves were remade. Some more photos attached but really at this stage all I want to know is if I unscrew will the screws go back tightly in the same holes. Or if not how to get around this.

I'll proceed with care and see how it goes.
Thanks to all for the replies.
