The division is society has occurred, because a largely tolerant and inclusive nation has had its plonker pulled by far away people, who want to move here and change the culture to that of their far away home land.

The 'culture' of all societies has always had its fair share of psychos.
UK has always had its fair share of far-right racists prepared to exploit opportunities to promote their brand of racism.

In the 1930s, the term "Blackshirts" referred to members of the British Union of Fascists (BUF) led by Sir Oswald Mosley. Formed in 1932, the BUF adopted a paramilitary, militaristic uniform (modeled after Italian fascists) featuring a black shirt, and targeted Jewish and left-wing communities, which ultimately sparked major violent clashes in London
