No. But an accurate record over that kind of time frame would give us a good bearing on whether or not 'rapid' temperature changes over several decades is an anomaly, or quite normal.You think we need daily maximum temperatures for 10,000 years to be able to tell that the temperature is rising rapidly over a period of a few decades.
We don't even have 140yrs worth of reliable data, a mere blink of an eyes worth.
