Abnormally high UK temperatures continue

If you didn't catch it, we're in for an extra strong el nino effect this year. Apart from heating up Australia and environs, the weather gets screwed all over the world. Big effects on crops - shortages thereof, famines, rocketing inflation etc.
Someone with enough money to "use" somewhere will be making a killing of course. And the poor will get poorer. Argentinas crops get helped by increased rainfall, so invest in Fray Bentos...

It puts Burnham et al's priorities in perspective. Stop piddling about with taxes -
get growth , or there's not enough money to divi up
get defences up to standard - or the Russians will cause mayhem for the country
Get the climate addressed - bang heads together or there won't be a planet to live on.

Simples:(
OK wrong thread....

Higher ambient temperature presumably
The supermarkets are air conditioned. So how does that work.
It's all part of the climate agenda, directing us to the "Climate lockdowns" whilst the government are adding tax and applying lockdowns they can quote "we all saw the fridges breaking down in our supermarkets"

The air conditioners and fridges collect heat from inside the building/fridges then dump thst heat outside the building. The hotter it is outside the harder it is to dump the heat and the more heat there is to dump. If you try to push the units too hard they'll fail to keep up or fail completely.

This is really basic physics.

The fridges do not dump to the outside. The Aircon in the supermarket is still working, it's still cool in there.

Industrial/commercial fridges always exhaust heat to the outside. Dumping it inside the building would be idiotic at best.

If you want something to blame the change in climate on you need to blame Jupiter and Saturn and Mars. Not me driving my car to the corner shop or using some gas to heat my home.

Travelling by train to Prague today where it will be 40 degrees. Too hot for being in big city but at least have ac where I am staying. Just be sure to keep up fluid intake!

Looking a lot cooler in UK for when return.

This is nonsense just like your failure to understand air con.

But astrology is right up your street.
Astrology
Tell us you know nothing about the roll of the milankovitch cycles on our climate - without telling us you know nothing. The planets are involved in that eccentricity.
So you knew nothing about 20 years old tec that allows the tracking of aircraft
You knew nothing about GISP
So now you show us you know nothing about milankovitch cycles.
You are just a solar panel salesman after all I suppose.
YouR MO is to Google it and come back like you know all about it, you are that bloke down the pub who is full of BS.

You don't understand how a bloody fridge works. :p

Milankovitch cycles operate over 26,000+ year cycles, so irrelevant to rapid changes. I also referred to them earlier in the thread but not by name.

If you look only at the Milankovitch cycles, the Earth is currently on a very slow natural cooling trend. without all the CO2 we are pumping into the atmosphere our planet would be very slowly heading back to another Ice Age

So it’s a good thing then

Pity humans won't live to see it. The earth however will thrive long after we have gone.
