Abnormally high UK temperatures continue

If you didn't catch it, we're in for an extra strong el nino effect this year. Apart from heating up Australia and environs, the weather gets screwed all over the world. Big effects on crops - shortages thereof, famines, rocketing inflation etc.
Someone with enough money to "use" somewhere will be making a killing of course. And the poor will get poorer. Argentinas crops get helped by increased rainfall, so invest in Fray Bentos...

It puts Burnham et al's priorities in perspective. Stop piddling about with taxes -
get growth , or there's not enough money to divi up
get defences up to standard - or the Russians will cause mayhem for the country
Get the climate addressed - bang heads together or there won't be a planet to live on.

Simples:(
OK wrong thread....

Higher ambient temperature presumably
The supermarkets are air conditioned. So how does that work.
It's all part of the climate agenda, directing us to the "Climate lockdowns" whilst the government are adding tax and applying lockdowns they can quote "we all saw the fridges breaking down in our supermarkets"

The air conditioners and fridges collect heat from inside the building/fridges then dump thst heat outside the building. The hotter it is outside the harder it is to dump the heat and the more heat there is to dump. If you try to push the units too hard they'll fail to keep up or fail completely.

This is really basic physics.

The fridges do not dump to the outside. The Aircon in the supermarket is still working, it's still cool in there.
