Russia : not a lot else going for it.s.
Shows what you know then doesn't it.

Not moved there yet?

Your home country would need to be absolutely dire and run by a total nutter to want to emigrate to Russia.
My wife is from Russia and her family live over there, they have a much higher standard of living than you do.,

Russia has all of the ingredients of living well in the big city's.

I'm sure they have street lights in the big cities.

Dunno what you are on about noseall
Standard deflective response. Expected.

Reform. Made up of brexiteer Tory rejects that allowed thousands of illegal migrants to enter our shores, then pi$$ed off to reform to avoid accountability and load up on embarrassment. Remember brexit - the UK harming traitorous 'gift' that gave us the boat people? Yep, those migrants are all yours boyo.

Suck it up.

It only takes a change of leadership for some of those countries : they're use of fossil fuels is not obligatory.

The septics for example : ideology, plus in the pockets of Big Oil.

Russia : not a lot else going for it.

China is a bit of an outlier, in that it has (to a degree) "taken one for the team" : what we an many other countries no longer emit, we outsourced to China when we outsourced our production.
But they would by biblically worse if they hadn't made such great strides in renewables.

China is the undisputed global leader in renewable energy capacity and generation, producing about 32% of the world's renewable electricity. The country has built the world's largest clean power system, with renewables now accounting for over 61% of its total installed power generation capacity, By the end of 2025, China's total installed renewable capacity surpassed 2,340 GW and also adds more wind and solar capacity annually than the rest of the world combined.

It's no use using them as a reason to not give up using oil and gas, coal and petrol power, these days - people still clinging on to their 20th century ideas of energy consumption should take a good look at how far China have developed in the past 25 years...and how much further ahead they'll be in the next 25 years.

......... take a good look at how far China have developed in the past 25 years...and how much further ahead they'll be in the next 25 years

This.

I've said it previously, that it took us centuries to become the pre-eminent power.
China have arguably done so in a few short decades and, at their current rate of progress, will be long into the distance in a couple more.
