Not for a long time! What is the critical elevation for this sort of thing?

ReportedArgentina are a one man team. I don't take them seriously as contenders..

I was up at 4. Couldn't sleep. So got dressed went to school and got more done than if I would have got done tomorrow. Im not sure how things will pan tonight but I can have a lay in if need be.I was up at 4.00 this morning to do a boot sale. Doubt if I’ll be able to stay awake until then. Might have a nap in a minute and see how I feel at match time. I'll be surprised if they win. Playing them at altitude and on their home turf plus I don’t think they’ve exactly shone in their other matches. Kane might surprise us though
Because I have them in the betOMG
Why? {TM}
I suppose it would also be unfair on the mex team to play at sea level or would they be supermen with all the oxygen.Have you been up a mountain?

Are you telling me its mountainousYes we could, we could beat Mexico too on a level field,
They must in some way have prepared for this possible event? Surely? And penalties?however the environment is the big factor in this. We will be seriously lacking in oxygen and stamina and watch us get cramp every five mins. It will be like an SAS endurance exercise

Talk sillyThe field is level. It's just very high up. But not high enough to make a physical difference as far as I can tell.
No idea, but air is obviously thinner and England haven’t acclimatised properly.Not for a long time! What is the critical elevation for this sort of thing?

Thank god for that. Otherwise could be like playing Yeovil TownThe field is level. It's just very high up. But not high enough to make a physical difference as far as I can tell.

Evidently not. He thinks it is like on top of a small hill.Have you been up a mountain?

LOL it is 7200 ft above sea level. The change only becomes physically noticeable to most people—such as through shortness of breath or reduced endurance at around 5000 ft. Even the ball trajectory will be affected from air. Around 29% less oxygen which to an athlete running around in the heat for 90 mins is quite a drop and disadvantage.The field is level.
