LOL it is 7200 ft above sea level. The change only becomes physically noticeable to most people—such as through shortness of breath or reduced endurance at around 5000 ft. Even the ball trajetory will be affected from air. Around 29% less oxygen which to an athlete running in the heat is quite a drop.

I wasn't. I hadn't realised how high it was or that it made such a difference. Foreign teams play rugby in Jo'burg all the time and it never really seems to affect them.

They must in some way have prepared for this possible event? Surely? And penalties?
Not exactly set in the death zone but a limiting factor for our team. They will notice the fatigue from the lack of oxygen they are used to
