The more I reflect on it the more I think he absolutely played a blinder.
Listening to the news channels and the pundits chat there was a definite feeling that he was going to permanently quit, also on the radio you could feel the presenters joy, there were jokes and laughter.
Even his announcement statement was worded to make them think he was leaving.
So he hoodwinked every news channel and radio station to run it live. And he used it as a totally free party political broadcast. It was genius.

If you read my post properly you would realise that was not my angle on it. I didn't particularly comment on what he said or if the contents of it were genius.

Im still holding on to the hope that, Farage, and, Lowe are plotting together to bring forth the most brilliant political ruse the world has ever seen.
Nigel is clearly a very patient man.
He dedicated decades of his life to ensuring that the UK would one day leave the authoritarian European Union and won.
He ain't no quitter, and judging by, Ruperts matter of fact/ I don't care what you call me attitude in parliamentary debates the duo would make a formidable team.
Just a hunch of course.
