® Did you know?

Usual suspects with heads in the sand

This analysis has been repeated annually since 2013 and over this time, there has been no evidence of sex selective abortions occurring in the UK.
There is a small subset of sex selection for Indian women who already have 2 or more children, but it comes to around 80 a year. This isn't good, but it disproves your theory.

As always you have fears but no information and don't look for it.

Only its on the bleedin BBC its not "my theory" it was brought to the attention by Labour MP Naz Shah the BBC news and everywhere else at the time were running the story. Did you even read the report, the situation was so bad they were banning revealing the sex of the baby and so thousands were instead going to private clinics to have the test - read the article.

You even hinted at it yourself in your reply to mottie here
Did you know the most popular name for boys born in 2025 was Muhammad.

Did you know there were no traditional Muslims girls names in the top 10 names?
Strange that if there are equal girls to boys bourn or is it that Karen is a traditional south Asian girls name

"The party fears the eight-week blood test, available privately, may lead to selective abortions of girls."

I'm sure in some cases it may - such practices have occurred in many cultures over many years. In China infanticide was often used.

Revisiting what you wrote:

Its actually a result of some mildly interesting cultural naming changes, but yeah, go with that.

Did you know there were no traditional Muslims girls names in the top 10 names?

Did you know Its because when they find out its a girl they are aborted.

So you wrote it IS because when they find out its a girl they are aborted.

Your claim was that selective abortion of female foetuses is so common that it drives the number of female births down to the point where there are no traditional Muslims girls names in the top 10.

So yes - proof, please.

I read the article, it didn't say that. You're failing to understand what's written down yet again. You didn't do well in English at school did you.

Its because in a lot of Muslim cultures you give the boy a first name of Mohammed effectively as a title, and then use the middle name as the day to day name. So it gets used very heavily as a first name by some groups.

The other interesting trend is that generally the UKs names of choice have become less clustered and more varied making the objectively small number of Mohammeds go right up the rankings.

Having a thread asking for facts and letting aveatry on it is dooming it to implode.

Particularly when there are people here who believe that "trolling" is asking for proof that something asserted to be factual really is.

"fears" "may" You dont seem to understand the wishy washy language of trying not to upset certain communities - this was 2018 meanwhile at the same time the same wishy washy language was allowing grooming gangs free reign. Helped along by people like you with your head in the sand

Keep your heads in the sand boys --- I will leave it there as you are you are already spoiling the thread.

Prove it!

Nonsense. No one is under the illusion about abortions being carried out in the UK.

Your statement however is nonsense. Without females there is no abortion dummy.

Whereas you don't seem to understand language.

Asking you to prove that assertions you make are true is not "spoiling the thread", it's stopping this site from becoming just a repository for lies and unchallenged bigotry.

Obviously not all of them - are you billy. It was a reply to minion about the lack of girls names in the list when Mohamed is top in the UK for boys he brought the subject up in the first place. It seems some don't like the BBC report on the cause.
