Yeah, in the same way that policing was partly to blame when shoplifting incidents sky rocketed once it was known that nobody would be prosecuted if the goods were worth less than £200.

Thank you for making that analogy...

It backs up the real reason for the increase in crossings since 2020...

Namely withdrawal from EU databases which makes detection and prosecution of the smuggling gangs much harder, thus encouraging them...

You can praise 'good old nige' for that one ;)

7.15 this morning in Sainsburys. Who's to blame for this - a skank brazenly filling a basket with booze (below the £200 limit you see). When challenged by the security guard, she shouted "**** you", threw the basket at him and just walked out of the store.

And yes, I know she hadn’t left the store and technically no crime had been committed so let’s not get into a point of law argument.

Wow. The law or guidelines need to be changed.

I think you should give the guy some credit where it is due.
How many people would voluntarily spend so much of there free time posting countless reams of text to what, if we are all honest, is a rather insignificant forum in the internet universe?
His dedication to this site is extraordinary.
How many accounts is it now?
2, 3, 4?
All with the same agenda.
Most would consider that as a full time...
... job!
Oh!
You're talking about Highway man, right?

If there are witnesses saying that she shouted aggressively and threw it...

You'd hope that throwing glass bottles at someone would be assault. It would be on the street if rioters targetted police officers.

Nothing stops her from being done for both.

I suspect they will just mop up the mess and everyone else pays.

Such as throwing a cone at a policeman, I think we have seen a picture like that once or twice.

We have.

Some here think it shows rioters assaulting police officers.

And some here think it's faked, because the protests were peaceful.

All in the eyes of the viewer, some have lived a more sheltered life and perceive normal everyday occurances as violent or frightening.

If the scenes depicted in those photos are normal everyday occurrences in your life, you really should consider moving.
