But I don't think we need some self-appointed arbiter with a holier-than-thou attitude, ripping into post after post to demand this or demand that, followed by derogatory classifications of the poster or group of posters.

A request for links or any evidence of a claim is always met with evasion, which leads to a round-robin of demand and denial. Usually started by a right wanging troll. You know who they are.

The forum trolls and a-holes do get attention but it seems they are recalcitrant, how very dare they be so, and won't be forced into line.
Ban 'em, I say. If the place were less toxic, more would stay. I can think of a couple who don't bother any more but they're out there in their specialist sections. One was constantly harangued by gas 112 - at least he's been barred.
