It wasn't so long ago you were predicting catastrophe, when that particular scenario didn't materialise you are now quibbling over a percentage points of economic growth.
Any shortfall in predicted economic growth could be due to the structural readjustment required in the economy due to Brexit.
Any Brexit related problems are likely to be short term.

The pub chain Wetherspoons has banned customers from playing music or taking calls on speaker after growing complaints about the noise.

The company announced it had introduced the ban across its 792 pubs, saying sounds from smartphones and tablet computers had become an “increasing problem in recent years”. The firm said in a statement: “Following complaints from customers who are being driven nuts by other people’s videos and amplified phone conversations, Wetherspoon has asked customers to switch their phones to silent or to use earphones.”

Tim Martin, said: “In a world dominated by other people’s music and amplified sound, Wetherspoon pubs are an oasis of tranquillity and contemplation. In order to avoid customers being driven chicken jalfrezi by a cacophony of sound, we are kindly asking phone users to pipe down.”

What us oldies don’t get is though, folk are making money from their phones, so they are a well used business tool.
This is actually them making daily bread, in some cases.

My youngest missus is a content creator. She sometimes uses our house for vids. Nice looking lass that gave her job up at a shopping outlet and makes thousands more than she ever did there. She gets sent freebies or is asked to spend a weekend at a holiday cottage, in return for content. She gets paid ok money.

She gets sent freebies or is asked to spend a weekend at a holiday cottage, in return for content. She gets paid ok money.

My greyhound will be doing the same thing too. They might ban my greyhound. It’s a good point.

I heard a story about a guy who went into a public toilet to take a dump. As he sat down a voice nextdoor said "Are you all right?" He said "Yes I suppose so". The voice then said "What have you been up to?" He said "Just the usual things, why?" thinking what's going on here, am I being propositioned or something? The voice then said "I'll have to ring you back in a bit, some **** keeps talking to me."

My mates daughter makes a fortune in her phone via socials. A few local lasses do very well out of it. Gemma does the best, she’s made a fortune
