The Beeb seem to have Trumpf on the back foot, but why does their legal system make it so hard to serve papers? Michael Wolf has encountered the same problems in his legal action against Mellania. It seems service of documents has to be in person by hand direct to the individual. Which is difficult if you are surrounded by the secret service.

Just another poorly thought out, ill prepared lawsuit. It'll end up on the Trump fail heap with all the rest, especially if it is deemed necessary for the fat orange scumstain to tell the truth under oath. Trump wiill revert to his standard TACO faster than you can say "...I swear to tell the truth..."

He’s bitten off more than he can chew and has accused the beeb of harassing his family. They aren’t folding like the Fail did ten years ago when they wrongly suggested Mellania was an escort.
I think you're all forgetting Trumps ace card, the BBC's admission of guilt.
You can of course show us where the BBC has admitted guilt in a court of law?
After all, a court of law is the only place that guilt is either proven or not...

The BBC has admitted that that their editing of a nearly two hour speech into a 20 second clip might have given the wrong impression. The Panorama episode was only 60 minutes long. How could they truncate the 2 hour speech in a 60 minute programme?
You seem to be overlooking the fact that he claims that he lost votes and money because of the programme. The programme was not available in the USA and any overseas Americans would have submitted their votes before the programme was watched by 70,000(?) people in the UK.
Trump knew nothing about the programme until someone like Natalie (looks like my plastic daugher) Harp told him about the Telegraph article nearly two years later.
At great expense, the BBC has submitted 35,000 pages. The P'do's lawyers pushed back against requests for financial records. Trump's legal team complained that doing so would require them to submit 10,000 pages.
Rather than having to hand the info over, his legal team have dropped the financial harm claim. The judge seems to be pushing back though- why bring a case and then drop £5bn of it.
Whilst it may upset you, Trump has lodged many defamation cases. Most of the time he backs out once it reaches discovery. He has never once won a defamation case. His "I never wrote a picture" in the p'do Epstein (WSJ) birthday card case is pretty close to being tossed.
