On This Day

Can also be difficult to read and write too if you are dyslexic.
Being Dyslexic does soften those really strong words. Like you say Hate is strong. A word that I dont like to use.

But those other words are just plain horrible.

I was watching an interview last night with fighter pilot Heather Penny, she was told to intercept the 4th plane but she had no missiles on board, so she was told to crash into the plane.....luckily for her the brave passengers handled it themselves....I'd never heard of her or that story until yesterday.
So sad.

It is. I saw a short clip of an interview with Douglas Bader who took his time lighting a venerable pipe with a match, then gave credit to the people who withstood the Blitz, saying they played a role just as vital as the RAF in winning the BoB. They commemorate the 15th since that was the last large daytime raid by the Luftwaffe, i think.

On this day in 1978, I met Mrs Mottie-to-be in Talk Of The South (TOTS) disco/nightclub in Southend on Sea. She was 17 and she later said that on that first night, she knew she would marry me!
