No further increases and cheaper fuel in line with others :D any chance of adding that

You want an option to cut public services? that would be a different poll.

your not reading the other posts JohnD. Why would anything have to be cut, and for public spending read goverment waste  Do you not agree that if we stopped the stupid vote buying tactics and waste outlined in other posts then there would be no need to increase any other tax to get cheaper fuel. Are you really saying that it is fine that your money is just pi55ed away on the issues I and others have already posted about :?:

I've seen no evidence that anyone can cut public spending without cutting public services.

Politicians like to say they can, when they're not in power. But they can't.

If you can get a pound's worth of value from 50p, you should be a multi-millionaire consultant, or possibly prime minister.

wot is a public services, i though everything was private or in trusts like bins , schools, hospitals, police with bugets & gatso's  railways buses, :? but if u mean benifits would be cut well now thats differant  i get [nothing] so i,will have mind cut of my fuel please

£5.00 a ltr sound about right that should get the cars of the streets and raise the coffers for public services Then what transport costs rise so will everything else. The delveries to your stores will have to be paid for so your bread milk and everything, that goes by truck at some point, will cost you more. Its a knock on effect that affects everyone be they a motorist a green whatever. cant even use the argument that more should go by rail. I don't know about anyone else but I know for sure that no train tracks run into my Tesco. Did you know that the American armed forces are paying 80p a gallon whilst serving in Great Briton. We subsidse that. If its good enough for them then its good enough for me.

Yes.

Hello BAS

used to like reading your posts on screwf** as well, they made me chuckle too

Actually - I've removed the comments from my post - it isn't reasonable to start making posts like that when I have no intention of returning to this forum.

But if you're posting here doesn't that mean that you've had to return to do so.? Typical mixed up BAS. Whatever will he say next?

OK, smart-**** :D

I meant I have no intention of returning as a regular - I came to the site to ask a few questions on the electrical forum, decided to have a quick shufti in this forum to see if anything had changed, and ended up making a couple of posts, so I was just trying to set expectations regarding any ongoing debate...

Whatever will he say next?
Goodbye :D

Fair comment. I removed my reply cos it looked like I was talking to a ghost

a lot of the wasted money is spent on previous measures like consultants and layers of burocracy to"save money"
