I must admit to just finishing changing the light fitting in my kitchen.Am I a bad person?................

Besides you'll be changing it back in a couple of weeks when you get sick of all those dark spots and shadows.

You may want to ebay the old fitting as I hear with a new tube, starter and diffuser they're all the rage in the north
