This is why i screw the social/dhss or whoever they are called today, but too many people on here think it's wrong

Some people live too much in a fantasy world, can't see beyond their nose!

Good on you Libby, take all you can get. These leeches do. Corrupt sleazy batsards.

Roughcaster.

So you're a crook as well?

And that's good, is it?

You are not screwing the "social/dhss", you are screwing the people who pay for your fiddles, the tax payer, thats us.
Do you enjoy stealing from us.......thief..........

You've plenty to say about Libby Lou Lou, but I notice you are not condemning the politicians (the corrupt ones), that this post was originally about. That's the problem with many this country, you let them off with it, and then vote them back in. Corruption starts at the top, as does turning a blind eye to it, but for the rest of us, it's condemnation and punishment.

Roughcaster.

Not true.

I despise crooks whether they're boasting on here or doing it quietly in the Palace of Westminster.

What you say is understandable, but why would you expect politicians to toe the line if we don,t.
You are either honest or not, their is no fence to sit on.

Lets be honest, most people, at one time or another, have aquired something which has come from somewhere 'dodgy', or been quite happy to receive something from a third party on the cheap, whether it is taking 'perks' from a job, buying stolen property or dodgy DVD's. I'm not saying it's right, it just happens. And before any self righteous do gooder replies to this, think back and I'm sure you will find that there was a moment when you acquired a 'bargain. :x

It won't matter if politicians do disclose their spending, there will always be a way around it I'm afraid.
Another issue that makes me smile is, whenever a group of travellers set up camp overnight somewhere, the only time you will hear about it is when it's close to either a politician or near some million pound houses :D

i hate polotics/politicians, but i'm afraid it's a case of damned if you do, damned if you don't.

they are a necessary evil, and so we vote in the party that we trust :? ........i will re-phrase that....we refrain from voting for the parties we trust the least.

what i'm getting at is, political parties in this country are accountable and are under intense scrutiny from political journalists and commentators.

tax cheats and dole thieves are a more sneaky, widespread and devious threat.

I read somewhere that more social security money is unclaimed by people who are entitled to it, than is lost through fraud.

MP's fiddling expenses, shock horror, they have been fiddling for years and will carry on doing so, why? because they make the rules thats why.

I don't think it makes a jot of difference which party they are in either (Is that why it is called the House of Commons as they all have one thing in common, they fiddle their expenses)

As for people fiddling the DHSS, shock horror, people have been fiddling that for as long as MPs have been fiddling the public.

Don't blame the people, blame the system for letting them get away with it.

No respect for people who come on here and brag about their stealing

Nor for people who applaud or condone it.

Could not agree more.

Can not believe some of the pathetic reasoning behind condoning such behavior.

We all fiddle expenses from work though. For example, Its 23 miles from my shop to the area office. From my house, its 18 miles. I go from my house to the office, but claim for 23 miles because I "had to go to work first".

Similarly, on training days we can claim for our dinner. I get a sandwich and chocolate bar, but also buy a large bottle of pop, and stuff for a meal tonight, and hand in the reciept for expenses. Its so easy.
