can this be soldered?

I want to run sum up from under the floorboards for towel rad in bathroom, using chrome compression for any bends

if your soldering file the chrome off down to the copper 1/2" or so for the fitting

Will the heat damage the chrome at all?

your doing 15mm your heat won't be on it long enough.
and it will be under floorboard.
looks ugly if you do it above floor level chrome to copper
