Ever forgotten which side your petrol filler cap is on? Or if driving a strange vehicle have you ever wondered which side to put nearest the pump, and had to get out and look down the side?
No More!
If you look at the dashboard and, particularly at the fuel gauge, there is a small symbol of a petrol pump.
The hose and nozzle are sticking out of the side of the pump on the side where you will find the filler cap.
Why it is not mentioned in the drivers manual or why showroom bods never tell you is a mystery UNLESS they don't know. But it appears that all car manufacturers use the same symbol technique.
Check yours out next time you get in the car.
Hope it is of use to you,
dave
