    I've just done the same thing....in my case it was 4" hole, so I took a 4" core drill, and a couple of blocks - drilled out two 4" cores from the spare blocks, and then just cemented them into the holes in my wall (cavity wall - one inner, one outer), and then rendered the outside to bring flush...

    Hi, I've been refitting my bathroom - part of this is to install a shower with a concealed valve. I've channeld the pipework into the thermalite block, and then overboared with Marmox. problem is, using the Grohe shower outlet elbow, and once the tiles are on (which I haven't done yet)...

    Damp stain on ceiling

    Stainstop. It's a spray paint that can be purchased at most DIY and trade shops. After you've treated it with that, paint over with your paint of choice.
