We recently had our first Muslim clothing shop open in the town centre. Sell everything from burka to head scarves.

Managed to get myself banned on the day it opened. All I did was ask if they had any bomber jackets.

The French are an easy target for criticism, but you can't knock them for trying to protect their way of life. Shame we don't do the same thing here.

When Western women go to muslim countries, they are forced to follow certain dress codes, so as not to cause offence. This is the same thing, so anyone who has a problem with it is a hypocrite. They wouldn't dare publicly criticise the muslim countries for their laws, but will be competeing with each other to be offended and outraged by the new French law. Complete bed-wetting pc hypocrites.

Personally, I think it is great that the French have done this, but won't hold my breath for the jellies that run this country to adopt a similar law. There is something sinister and very unsettling seeing just a pair of eyes peering out of a ghost-like sheet. Must frighten kids as well.

Well done Frogs!

Did you know that there are over 4 million Muslim women in France? The authorities looked at this minority group closely to find out how many of them wore burqas or niqabs and found out that a staggering 367 Muslim women regularly wore such attire.

Which countries are you referring to white spirits? I know of only two that make it law to wear them , and most Muslim countries i have visited only ask that you show respect during religious festivals , such as Ramadan.

Why did they ban the wearing of such clothes , anybody know? Have they also banned balaclavas?

My guess is its to get public opinion backing for an election or some such reason.

I said that Western women had to 'follow certain dress codes'. This doesn't always mean having to wear a burka. It may simply be not showing too much bare flesh. Most people don't have a problem with this if its what the majority want. I suspect that its's the same thing in France, the wishes of the majority, whereas in The UK, it's the monorities wishes that seem more important.

Almost all of the gulf states expect women to cover their legs and arms when out in public. Bikini's can be worn on the beach, but to walk back to the hotel means covering up. Even a peck on the cheek or holding hands in public can find people up in front of a judge.

As far as I am aware its two country's that make this law , the rest is just tradition. Its not even required in Islam , its just a custom.
I personally think to ban a custom in any country is still wrong and to say that foreigners should obey our customs is a bit silly , seeing as we dont really have any.

They probably thought you was a taxi driver and about to shoot the place up

Why do you keep likening me to Derek Bird the murderer just because I come from the same part of the world. You have now done this several times for absolutely no good reason?

Do you have a mental health issue on the subject of DB? Certainly sounds as if you are fixated on him. Or are you just another reincarnation of a former member who had a fixation on me.

So sad...

You girls have a history? I genuinely thought you were mates taking the ****.
