It's a little ridiculous to try and compare the number of incarcerated jihadists to the rest of the prison population. 130 is still 130, and that's an unexpected amount of jihadists that have been quetly jailed, without much reporting of them. It would seem that there are alot of islamist being either indoctrinated, coerced, or just radicalised whilst in the prison system, hence why they've set up the seperate jail, to stop the problem getting worse. I'd like to know why they haven't done this earlier, but I suspect political correctness had something to do with it.

And I suspect that some of the 130, were the ones trying to get to Syria to join ISIS, and I'd also like to know why they weren't helped on a plane, and their passport taken off them before take off.

Probably not reported because they had not actually committed any specific crime. They would have been detained for suspicion of certain activities, such as attempting to travel, associating with, communicating with, etc.
Without knowing precisely why they are in prison, it is like saying that 100 people are in hospital, therefore tonsillitis is on the increase.

Without a passport they would not be allowed entry to another country. Typical example of someone saying the first thing that comes into their mind. :rolleyes:

So you've never watched the Tom Hanks film, The Terminal. He landed, got off the plane, but wasn't allowed to leave the teminal. If you let them travel, then they have a valid passport to return as a highly trained jihadist. If you take their passport away from them, then they can get a new foreign passport, but unless it's an EU one, then they don't have right of entry. If you take away their passport, you tranfer the problem to another country, or leave them in limbo. So you obviously beleive they should be locked up then.

No it's not a perfect solution, but it's still one I'd like to try.

So you defend your assertions with more assertions. So you don't have any evidence to back your claim up. Thought so. By the way I am not on one side or the other, I would like to look at the facts and see what we can determine.

Sure everyone has an opinion and that's fine but we shouldn't make policy decisions on opinions.

You only have to look at the mugshots of these gangsters when they are shown on television to see that they are not indigenous Brit's.
The rise in gun and other types of crime is the fallout from years of uncontrolled immigration.
