Hi,

Apologies if the answer if this has been answered already, but I can't find in in the forum. I've also checked the user and install manuals, but they don't go into enough detail.

Does anyone have a Guardtec 300 series alarm? I've just moved house and inherited one, however the screw that holds the door of the panel closed is missing, and gaffer tape isn't exactly a long term solution. I tried an electricians M3.5, as I had some lying around, but its too big.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks in advance

Scott

Is the brass insert still in the panel backplate ? As they can come out after a lot of opening and closing of the panel ...

Thanks sparkymarka. Yeah the brass nut is still in there, it's only the screw/bolt that's missing. I suppose I could try to prise it out, see if I can find a match that way.

Probably m3 or 2.5 will try one tomorrow and let you know ....by the way just binned one inc screw ! Lol

Had a look at work ...must have binned them all...leave it with me I think it's the same thread as the eurosec panels

Nice one sparkymarka. All sorted now. It's nice to see there's still some decent guys out there.
