Pyronix delta to Texecom

The manual can be found online
never thought of that mate! Found it, explains it all and no further assistance required :) My box was missing that, I will be having a word with the supplier I used! I wondered about it when it arrived as the seal was broken on the box but was told it was to add in the communicator into the package. I am guessing they have had this out for something else and not put the book back in! Thanks for your assistance

This is such a common post, connecting a delta bell to a Texecom panel. Why is the delta bell so popular, it’s crap. Surely using a Texecom bell with a Texecom panel is better. An immulinated Odyssey X is 100 times better than the delta bell.

Because it is already on the wall and nothing wrong with it? Perhaps a new box in 5 years. As already stated, the problem was the suppliers never included the install manual! I did wonder at the time right enough!

distributors appear to be pushing it with the panels for sure maybe they get better margins on the delta bell.

Or issues with texecom bellboxes , this is why we moved onto the delta bell and lack of coloured covers ...it's white or nothing

Well the connections for the bell box were correct, suspected they would be and system in and working. Thanks for the assistance. Next door had the texecom installed by a local company and used the texecom box, dislike the black edge around it. Having said that my Pyronix Delta was up before their system was installed. Checked inside it today and still looking good.

We used to install these with the old Ademco Accord system.

No probs, the box was exactly as I suspected so simple really. Programmed and operational ;) Thanks bud. Next step is cameras on to it. I just installed 3 x mains linked smokes, wish I had waited now and got ones for the alarm! I wasn't to know the alarm was going to pack up though ;)

Neighbour has the texecom box and glad I never went for it. The delta is brighter and just looks better ;)

Still have to programme in the comms box but ran out of time, back out onto the oilrig tomorrow :(

Popular probably because Pyronix have been around so long and there is a loyalty towards them? Also reliable. With the Pyronix on my wall and a Odyssey on my next door neighbour, night and day. No competition, the Pyronix is brighter and looks better ;)
