Well reading the latest press releases from Ford it would seem that the closure of the UK plant has more to do with global changes in the car market than Brexit - good to know that project fear is still up and running though!
The motor Industry is in Chaos, Diesel is in decline, petrol engines have exceeded their sellby date, Electric Powered vehicles are too expensive , We are at the crossroads of the Car Industry

"Ford did not blame Brexit for its cost-cutting plans but has said a no-deal scenario could make matters worse. It said leaving the EU without a deal would result in costs of $500m to $1bn during 2019 alone, adding to a series of stark warnings from major car firms over potential disruption to British manufacturing."

Wouldnt it be more useful for remainers and leavers to consider a nore balanced view:
Car manufacture in the UK has been damaged by Brexit, uncertainty for the future has lead to car makers pulling out of the UK
-Brexit was clearly a part of the reason, even if only because those car plants that arent making money, Brexit has tipped the balance.
However, remainers must understand, like Bosswhite says, car manufacture is at a crossroads, the demand for ICE is reaching an end yet electric techmology hasnt become mainstream yet, prices are too high, range isnt good enough.
If remainers want to argue about Ford as 'yet another Brexit problem', should also explain why Ford are also shutting car plants in Europe.

Ford has already said it will cease production at a plant in Bordeaux, France and has started labour talks at its Saarlouis factory in Germany where 6,190 staff build cars as it considers ending production of the C-Max compact van.
An article over the weekend (The Times) was discussing the problem that British Gas is experiencing with securing electric vehicles - not enough available and a suggestion that manufacturers are holding back stock to enable them to meet average commission targets next year.
There is somewhat of a perfect storm in cars manufacture.
I do suspect that Brexit has focused the manufacturers strategic planning -Brexit uncertainty and UK car plants producing cars with an uncertain future, has lead to the closures, maybe sooner than expected.
The UK should really be putting stacks of investment into battery technology and electric cars.......
