Well I've lost a couple of fence panels, actually lost, can't see them.
What is so surprising about that? Voltage in NI was always 230v. It was done because gear came into the area both from Eire (220v) and mainland UK (240v).

It is very obvious that Winston1 and GeorgeCooke have the same ideas about UK voltages, FCUs and sockets on lighting circuits to mention but three of their common fetishes.
It beggers belief that two separate individual persons have not only the same ( mis guided ) opinions but have also typed identical texts on these matters
