It does annoy me that the BBC are flying correspondents to infected areas to report.
Brainless Broadcasting Company

they recently sent the news anchor clive myrie out to Aus to report on the bush fires - then they went on and on that climate change was to blame, I wonder how they got him there.

Only the BBC, you say?

We are paying for the BBC sending their crews
Not paying for the any of the others.

Which correspondents and where?

The BBC employs the worlds largest number of foreign correspondents. War aside, foreign correspondents are, in a digital age, largely redundant, no-one appears to have told the BBC.
The number of 'journalists' the BBC sends to cover something like the Olympics has long been a source of mirth and derision from other news organisations, doesn't matter though, they have plenty of money and to date have been largely unaccountable. I suspect that may change soon.

The BBC will send 455 staff to cover this summer’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro – 40% down on the number it employed for London 2012.
The BBC acknowledged that its staff numbers often attracted criticism and said its total deployment was one-fifth of the number being sent by US broadcaster NBC.
The number of accredited staff is down on the 765 who covered the 2012 Games, and slightly fewer than the 493 who flew to China for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

It’s not the first time the Beeb has been attacked for overstaffing.
A huge team off BBC staff, which includes 250 presenters, freelancers, runners, producers and technicians was said to have covered the four days of Glastonbury.

Channel bosses refused to be drawn on the exact figure of staff who were working at the site.

Mr Bridgen added: “This looks very like an attempt to conceal the truth to avoid negative headlines about how many staff are being paid to go on what is a fun weekend away courtesy of licence fee payers.

“This is further proof the BBC operates in a parallel universe.”

It appears this could lead to a world wide recession Wall Street figures have collapsed to their lowest ever level .

That will please the Brexiteers

Funny how Brexit seems to get woven into any bad news story by those losers who were in favour of remaining. One mention of it and the usual suspects pile in too. Watch out losers, storm Jorge is on its way - don’t forget to blame Brexit being the cause of that too.

Given the extensive coverage of Glasto, how many personnel do you think would cover it?

Do you have any independant thought or are you so brainwashed by Tory propaganda you just repeat everything they say like an automaton.

Tories are spreading anti BBC narrative because they want to control the media. And they want to flog it off like everything else.
