Boiler installation cost too high?

Hi all I’m looking to replace my valiant regular boiler which is not very reliable with veismann 100w boiler I have a quote of £2400
Has your proposed installer actually visited the house to see what work is required, or is it a an instant quote via the RBHM website? Was a heat loss calculation done to ensure the correct size boiler was quoted?

You say you live in London but the proposed installer is in Bagshot, which is well outside the M25. So there will be a lot of travelling involved meaning lost time and additional expense. Why not use a local installer? Tell us where you live and we may be able to recommend someone.

Not a bad price at all. However I would be wanting a powerflush as apposed to a chemical flush.

That's would add a few ££££s
