In the case of Jacob Blake he was hardly innocent, he had a warrant out for his arrest, refused requests to drop the knife and was going round the car to either get in or grab another weapon. Also it is claimed a child was in the car. And he wasn't slaughtered either, he is still alive.
I haven't watched all of the trial but I haven't heard that at all, do you have a link?

Kyle's had the gun charges dropped, apparently the law isn't well written in Wisconsin, and the size of the gun determines whether it's legal. The judge decided that Rittenhouse was legally allowed to carry that particular gun.

The guy who survived didn't help the case by saying he had a gun pointed at Rittenhouse first, which helps to uphold the self defense claim.
