Yes early on scientists did say the vaccine significantly reduced infection and reduced or stopped transmission which was based on the data available at the time for the variants at that time.

There are many different strains, current advice is to have a vaccine, even if you've had the flu.
You just keep making stuff up. As I said previously and you ignored, anyone with basic knowledge knows they continue to mutate so how would the manufacturers and those plugging the vaccines not already know this? Yet state you only needed two jabs for protection.
It's clearly stated now that getting the vaccines does not stop you getting infected and that is not down to new variants. Stop making your own facts.

Yes, but tend to become less potent. That is why vaccine use is now mainly for the vulnerable.
