Hi all,

Can anyone recommend suggestions on what i can do here?

I'm replacing an old radiator in my house with a new one. The old radiator shut off valve is an imperial size (1" external - photo attached), then the tail from my new radiator is metric (15mm tail - photo attached).

I'm looking for a quick fix (not ideal but have visitors arriving Thursday and need the room finished). Do you get a tail for a new radiator that goes to an imperial shut off?

I would have replaced the shut off valve...but the pipe's painted all the way up and I'm concerned i don't get the new one to seal properly...I would have replace the last leg of pipe, but I'd need to cut an access hatch in the floor for that. So that's a battle for another day.

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers

Cheers guys...that's worked perfectly!

Noticed the need for large allen key after i got home!! I improvised by using a bolt head where I'd filed the shaft square :)
