Presidential hopeful Donald Trump has been left questioning his future in politics after earning a ringing endorsement from Liz Truss, a politician synonymous with abject failure and having her premiership outlived by a lettuce.

"Honestly, we'd rather have had the endorsement from the lettuce."
Despite currently being on trial for the first of four criminal charges he faces this year, Trump has told aides that Truss’ endorsement is the worst thing to happen to him since 2022 when his playing partner at Mar-a-lago saw his drive land in the water ensuring he couldn’t ‘find it’ at the edge of the fairway.

A Trump spokesperson told us, “This woman is a disaster, a walking calamity of incompetence and political failure. Having this woman’s backing is about as useful to us as having the endorsement of ISIS.

As the layers of cover up are peeled away is that what you mean Denso (y)
You mean police and hmrc investigations?

Any facts yet? I'm waiting for the outcome and not seen any facts. Nobody seems to want to provide them even though they know them.

Stop going round in circles its all been listed many times before. Keep asking does not make it disappear.

Oh go on

Just give us the facts, stop being shy.

Don't mistake rumours and allegations for facts though.

Just the facts please

As Britain’s ecosystem chokes in human filth, we see the Shakespearean idea that a mortal “body natural” is wedded to an abstract “body politic” made too too sullied flesh. Every tributary of the infosystem is clogged with sewage. Angela Rayner is hounded for peanuts by a billionaires’ media loyally providing covering fire for the perpetrators of Tory thefts of millions, siphoned from the public purse to Tory donors and friends via dodgy lobbying and unchallenged public contracts; while we listen to the debating-society digs of a prime minister whose non-dom wife may have avoided up to £20m in tax while he was chancellor; while Tory MP Mark Menzies allegedly rang an elderly local party volunteer at 3.15am to help raise £6,500 (or “four Angela Rayners”, as Vorderman would put it) to pay off “bad people” detaining him in a flat, an episode of Yes Minister directed by Quentin Tarantino.

Stewart Lee in good form today. :D

Ian Hislop deliciously skewered the inanity of the Tories attacks on Angela Rayner, on the latest HIGNFY. It made very clear to me how this issue is viewed outside of the right wing echo chamber. Time to emerge from the rabbit hole!
